IB is Always an Adventure!

Attached is the IB course catalog for 2017-2018.  Please use it to help you choose your courses and to access necessary info about the IB courses offered at GOHS.

The link below is to the IB Overview Night presentation in case you were unable to make it.  We will do a shortened version of it at our GOHS Spring Showcase in March as well.

I have also attached a PDF version of the Parent Pack of information which was handed out at the event.

Need help with creating your IB schedule?  Or, do you want to look at a three or four year high school plan so that you can make sure you get all of the classes you want?

Beginning January 30 through February 17 (in March for incoming freshmen), the counselors will be coming to your classrooms to go over the class selection process and give you critical information.  After that, you will be called in by math class to audit, or review, your schedule.  After the 17th I will also be having intervention meetings so that we can go over your schedules to allow for some extra help.

If you want to meet individually to look at a plan, contact me at jking@tvusd.k12.ca.us and we can set it up.

We are in need of proctors for our IB and AP exams.  If you, or someone you know, would be willing to do it, we would be eternally grateful. It is very easy.  You just have to be willing to hang out for a few hours quietly, stroll around, and help students if they need anything.  We will have a training prior to testing to help alleviate any concerns.

If you or someone you know could volunteer to proctor, please let me know by emailing jking@tvusd.k12.ca.us or calling 951.294.6450 X 2009

Use the link below to access the profile for you own information, or to send to colleges so that they can have context regarding the strength and size of our IB program.

If you need to add our class, just go to add a class and enter 11459607 as the class id and the password is king

Many of you have asked for this to be posted to the website!  Here it is!
