I encourage you and your parents to attend the Virtual College Fair, run by the National Honor Society. It's Thursday, October 20th. Save time and money as you begin to compose or narrow down a college list.
All you do is register at www.nhs.us/virtualcollegefair with this number: 00436659 (our school affiliation number)
Then, log in to the fair site from any computer or smartphone between 11:00 and 7:00 p.m. this Thursday.
One booth will feature a virtual college application essay writing workshop. This is the beginning of a series of college application essay writing workshops. Hosted by a field of experts, these are highly interactive sessions with writing prompts. You will walk away with tips to produce an effective finished product.

The FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) became available on October 1, three months earlier than ever before. Completion of the FASFA leads to many college financial aid opportunities.
