IB is Always an Adventure!
Wednesday, January 11, 2017, from 6-7:30 p.m.
Please join us in the GOHS Performing Arts Center for an overview of the IB program. This meeting involves a broad stroke overview of what IB is, but most importantly students and parents explaining their experiences with the program either currently or in the past. If you have a freshman, sophomore or incoming freshman it is a great way to decide if the program might be for you!
Great Oak High School is currently encouraging students interested in the rigorous IB program to consider submitting their transfer package to Mrs. King. We are excited for you to be a part of our program. We highly encourage you to come as a ninth grader so that we can ensure you are on the right curricular pathway. However, students in 9th and 10th are encouraged to submit their information for consideration and conversation.
Please see the transfer paperwork in the Notes Section to your right on the GOHS IB website under IB Transfers.
This message pertains to you if you have a student in:

If so, your student has the opportunity to register for and attend the free AP Readiness workshops held this year at UCR. The next one is SATURDAY, DECEMBER 17, 2016.
Students may drive there, or be driven, and attend as long as they have registered. The district is providing FREE BUSING to students who need transportation in order to attend. The bus leaves Saturday at 7:30 a.m. If you plan to take the bus, please fill out the trip slip attached below and return it to your AP teacher prior to TUESDAY, DECEMBER 13, 2016.
Students wishing to attend the workshop should register. A student only needs to register one time, so if you have been before, you do not need to register again, you can just show up.
