Be a Part of PTSA: GOHS PTSA Elections

The election of the Great Oak High School PTSA Officers will be held in April 2015. The Nominating Committee needs to secure a slate of nominees for the elected officer positions.


For the election of a President, a nominee must currently be a member of PTA, serving or has served on the Executive Board. For the election of an Elected Council Executive Officer other than President, a nominee must currently be a member of PTA.


Any nominee for an Appointed Officer or Chairman Position must currently be a member of PTA. Officers shall assume their duties on July 1, 2014. A list of nominees for the elected officer positions will be posted in early May 2014 in the office as well as on our website.

PTSA at Work

With your support GOHS PTSA was able to...

**DONATE funds to allow ROTC to go on their field trip.

**PROVIDE tools for the garden club

**SPONSOR a golfer at the Cross Country golf fundraiser in August and help SUPPORT to a GOHS band.

**PRESENT a social media awareness presentation for GOHS students and parents.

**FUND the Reflections art contest reception and award cash prizes to top 3 winners in each of 6 art categories.

**OFFER scholarship opportunities for seniors (see scholarship page)

**PTSA PROVIDES volunteer opportunities for parents and students and leadership positions for students on the GOHS board

PTSA would like to...

** Be able to provide teacher grants for equipment, supplies, etc. and offer support to clubs, activities, and sports teams

** Provide workshops for students: financial awareness, SCCA Teen driving event, situational awareness and self defense. (see upcoming events page for more information)

** Sprouts Shop NightMarch 5, 2015, Thursday 4-7 PM * Location: 32413 Temecula Parkway next to PetSmart. 5% back to GOHS PTSA

** FOOD DONATIONS NEEDEDMarch 12, 2015, Sring Showcase.  GOHS PTSA will provide dinner to 150 teachers. Crock pot of Soup, Salad & Sandwiches, Desserts. Asking food donations. E-mail : or text 951-795-1716 text Terry Purpura. Food donations can be drop-off at the front desk with Stefanie Rosser on March 12, Thursday, 2:30PM.

** Garage Sale: April 11th 7am to 1pm at Elite Tae Kwon Do. Drop off donations at GOHS front office. For large donations call 951- 201-1074



Need community service hours? Collect 10 boxtops and receive 1 hour. Turn in sets of 10 boxtops at activities desk.
