Intervention Information for Parents & Students

World History
Make up quizzes and test
Reteaching common missed standard from unit tests
Students request assistance on material and clarification on current or missed work
US History
Request intervention pass with your history teacher and email the teacher what you would like to do during the intervention

Intervention options: 
Complete missing quizzes, tests, make up work, additional support on assignments, make up Harkness Discussion, etc

Government/Economics
GOVERNMENT:

If a student is failing a Government class they should do the following:

Ask the teacher if they can have some help in reteaching or extra help with the specific topic. 

Next would be for students to submit an intervention “Hall Pass” for a scheduled future date. 

Lastly the student should attend the intervention and “check in” where the teacher can provide extra revision or reteaching on the topic in question.

Economics:
Students can complete intervention reviews and take intervention review assessments to improve grades from failed tests.

Biology

For Special Education Students - Mon/Tues/Thurs Sped Tutoring in PBIS room, (127)
Students can request intervention from their specific teacher for needed assistance.
Quiz retakes (up to a given %) are allowed
Late work accepted until unit test

Chemistry
Peer tutoring Tues/Thurs room 509
Unit 5 Test Retakes

Physics
Students can request intervention from their specific teacher for needed assistance.
Test Retakes up to 80%

Algebra 1 - Intervention Tutoring Tuesdays w/ Clabaugh (615). No test retakes but Midterm/Final will replace the lowest test score.

Geometry - Intervention Tutoring Tuesdays w/ Morton (601).  No test retakes but Midterm/Final will replace the lowest test score.

Algebra 2 - Intervention Tutoring Tuesdays w/ alternating Algebra 2 teachers. No test retakes but Midterm/Final will replace the lowest test score.

English 9 - Small group or whole class intervention after CIAs
English 10 - Small group or whole class intervention after CIAs
English 11 - Small group or whole class intervention after IABs, CIAs and district assessments.
ERWC - Ongoing interventions as needed based on module assessments.
