IB History of the Americas will be hosting guest speaker Holly Macarro.  Mrs. Macarro will give a presentation on Native American Civil Rights movements in the Americas and the continued modern day connections.  Students will have a Q & A session afterwards.

AVID will be hosting guest speaker Kristjan Venegas from Grand Canyon University admissions counselor program.  The guest speaker will be providing students information about their program and discuss requirements.  Students will have a Q & A session afterwards.

The GOHS Counseling department will be hosting guest speaker Kristjan Venegas from Grand Canyon University (GCU).  Mr. Venegas will speak to a day in the life of a GCU student on campus, provide information as to how to apply, and answer any questions that students may have.

From the City of Temecula: San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E) is proposing the Golden Pacific Powerlink —140-miles of 500-kV high voltage transmission lines and tower structures that will run through Temecula, specifically SR 79, Temecula Pkwy, Temecula Creek, and the Santa Margarita River. This directly impacts our City.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Governing Board (“Board”) of the Temecula Valley Unified School District (“District”) at its regular meeting to be held on Thursday, April 16, 2026, will conduct a public hearing to consider adopting the “Fee Justification Report for New Residential and Commercial/Industrial Development, dated March 27, 2026” (“Fee Justification Report”), and adopting a Resolution of the Board to justify an increase in “Level I School Fees” to $5.38/sq. ft. of assessable space for residential development, and $0.87/sq. ft. of chargeable covered and enclosed space for commercial/industrial projects (except rental self-storage projects) that may be imposed on projects located within the boundaries of the District pursuant to Government Code sections 65995 et seq. and Education Code sections 17620 et seq.
